The start of a new school year means getting back into a routine. This year, get ahead by organizing your child’s study space and school supplies. These simple steps will help keep your home calm and productive during the school year.
1. Create a Homework Station
Don’t overthink it, when you organize your child’s study space start easy — designate a quiet, well-list area for homework. Make sure it’s stocked with all the necessary supplies — pens, paper, highlighters, you name it! Having everything in one place reduces distractions and helps your child stay focused.
2. Set Up Organizational Systems for School Supplies
Make finding all of their school supplies easy! Instead of letting papers and supplies pile up, use bins, trays, or a filing system to keep things organized. Have one spot for incoming school papers, one for completed homework, and one for personal items like backpacks.
